Start Date: February 2020 for 1 year, with view 

Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications 

The Position 
Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Urologist. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow Urological services for Taranaki. The successful candidate will join the Department of Surgery along with our current Urologist. This is a fixed term contract for one year with view permanent post if suitable. 

The successful applicant should have comprehensive experience and training in general Urology and must have vocational registration or equivalent qualifications. The Surgical Department has a strong track record with audit and the post holder will be expected to participate and contribute to the department's activities including registrar teaching, audit and medical student teaching. 

The position is available on a full-time basis, however applications will be considered from candidates wishing to work on a part time basis with private practice.

Essential Criteria: 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Urology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
