The Position 
Our client is seeking a part time Specialist Ophthalmologist with a sub-speciality interest that will make a contribution to the service. It is essential that the applicant be able to undertake cataract surgery. 

You must have a qualification that allows Vocational Registration as an Ophthalmologist with the Medical Council of New Zealand. It would be preferred if the applicant had a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO). Participation in the consultant on-call roster (1:4) is required.

Essential Criteria: 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Ophthalmology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
