The Position 
Our client is seeking to employ a full-time (1.0 FTE) specialist geriatrician starting February 2020. They are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking colleague who is committed to helping them achieve their goal for the district of older people living well with frailty. The specialist geriatrician will join the experienced team of geriatricians, nurses and allied health professionals. 

This is an exciting time for older people in their district. In collaboration with their partners in primary care, our client is implementing a range of initiatives to enable older people to live well with frailty.

Located a couple hours from the ski fields of the North Island, wonderful wine country and the coolest little capital in the world, Palmerston North boasts fine dining, a world class university and a wonderful semi-rural lifestyle of its own. 

Essential Criteria: 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
