Respiratory Physician/General Medicine Physician

Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications 

The Position 
Our client is looking for a Respiratory Physician to join their team providing specialist secondary care services to the MidCentral region. This position would be suitable for an experienced or a newly qualified specialist. 

This is a new position and is additional to two experienced Respiratory Physicians. The position involves the provision of general respiratory inpatient and outpatient services including fibre-optic bronchoscopy, and reporting on sleep studies and respiratory lung function tests. Knowledge and ability to manage cystic fibrosis patients and any experience in the supervision of respiratory function laboratory is desirable. This position also includes participation in the general medicine, call roster and the provision of limited holiday cover for general medicine.

Essential Criteria: 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
