Psychiatry Specialist - Psychogeriatrics

Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications 

The Position 
Our client is seeking a consultant psychiatrist, with a special interest in psychogeriatrics, and who is interested in working collaboratively with a comprehensive MDT and a range of community based mental health service providers. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate proven clinical leadership, the ability to engage with service planning and development and quality processes. You will be an integral member of the clinical team and provide a high level of expertise and experience. 

This is a permanent part or full time position and will work between 64 to 80 hours per fortnight. Actual hours to be agreed upon appointment, and includes a requirement to participate on the after hours on call crisis service.

Essential Criteria 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
