The Position 
Our client has opportunities for house officers, senior house officers and training and non training registrars. Non trainees are able to gain experience in both inpatient and community general adult psychiatry as well as Old Age Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, under the guidance of a dedicated and experienced Consultants. They offer the opportunity to work with subspecialty services like Eating disorder, Intensive Outreach and Rehabilitation, Personality disorder, Maternal Mental Health and co-existing disorder services. 

The roster is a seven week roster with long days, night duty and weekends with rostered days off for rest and recovery. They are also centrally located with a number of fantastic outdoor activities within close reach, and a great quality of life. Clinicians who have settled here, love the work life balance. 

The Location 
Located a couple hours from the ski fields of the North Island, wonderful wine country and the coolest little capital in the world, Palmerston North boasts fine dining, a world class university and a wonderful semi-rural lifestyle of its own. 

Essential Criteria:
