Start Date: March 2019

Rates: Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience

The Position
Our client is a 12 bed rural hospital with an Acute Assessment Unit, Outpatient clinics, and many community based services. They are looking for a Medical Officer for a permanent role to join their team starting March 2019.
The role of the Medical Officer is to provide medical care to acutely ill patients as well as the management of inpatients on the General Ward.

A generous salary package includes substantial support for Continuing Medical Education.

The Location
Located in the Northland region, has one of the longest, unbroken stretches of sand beach in New Zealand, and is largely drivable from one end to the other. Essential Criteria
To be eligible to apply for this position you must as a minimum hold or be eligible for general scope of practice with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Preference will be given to doctors who hold the vocational scope of practice in Emergency Medical or Rural Hospital Medicine.
