Rates: Negotiable depends on experience and qualifications

The Position
Our client is seeking a Permanent GP to join their friendly team in an ideal Central North Island location starting January 2019. You will work in a supportive team environment which includes Peer Review with the other doctors. They are looking to fill a permanent position at least 8/10 per week. You will be required to work 1 Saturday morning in 6 but no on-call work. They are a PRIME medical centre with two of our GPs PRIME trained. Salary package includes membership to MCNZ, Indemnity Insurance and PHO membership.

The Location
Situated on the Southern end of Lake Taupo, this is the 'trout fishing capital of the world'. Located in a fantastic central location, within easy driving distance of many major North Island attractions such as Tongariro National Park, Mt Ruapehu ski fields and Lake Taupo.

Essential Criteria:
* The doctor they are looking for must have an interest in rural practice and be prepared to take part in a teaching programme
* NZ Qualified General Practitioner
* GP experience
* PRIME trained or be prepared to be PRIME trained.
* Fellow of the RNZCPG or be prepared to undertake the Fellowship programme
