The Position
Our client is a supportive group practice in North Canterbury, with excellent nursing and administration staff. They are looking for a General Practitioner to join their fantastic team in a permanent position, working 8:10s or
The start date is negotiable.
The Location
Situated in beautiful North Canterbury, close to the tourist hotspots of Hanmer Springs and Kaikoura. There are many national parks, mountains and lakes to explore in the area. A wonderful place to experience the rural town lifestyle of NZ, with friendly folk in a great community.
The region abounds in stunning scenery, and is known for its trout and salmon fishing. The booming wine industry continues to grow in the area, with many vineyards to explore and excellent cafes and restaurants around the region to sample the local produce. The resort town of Hanmer Springs is one of the gems of the region, with its stunning thermal pools it is an excellent place to relax.
One of the South Island’s premier ski fields is within easy driving distance, as is New Zealand’s second largest city.
Essential Criteria:
Must have or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Emergency experience would be desirable but not crucial.
