The Position 
Our client is looking for a Permanent GP (0.8-1.0) that likes to work in a small high performance team (1 GP and 2 Nurses) in a high-need semi-rural environment. The practice is three years old and rapidly growing we have a population of 3600 patients and get approximately 50 new patients enrolling with us per month. Start date is ASAP or November 2019. The area offers great life style opportunities, mountains and endless beaches while two major urban centres can be reached within an hour. In addition the population is down to earth and allows a GP to develop and use their full range of skills. 

The Location 
Situated in a place blessed with superb natural assets, treasured historical heritage and a thriving cultural life, all within easy reach of New Zealand's capital city, Wellington, which is just over an hour drive to the south. It offers a stunning natural environment on the lower west coast of the North Island, where the mountains meet the sea. 

Essential Criteria: 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
