The Position 
Our client is seeking an emergency specialist for a permanent role to join their team starting December 2019. You will be part of a small competent and supportive team, which provides 24/7 medical cover. This position offers you:

Use your varied and broad generalist knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat your patient in ED, through to discharge or stabilise and transfer patients to the Secondary/Tertiary Hospitals when required. 

The Location 
The district is well known for its other outdoor recreation options including tramping, cycling, mountain biking as well as lake and river water sports such as boating and kayaking. Rotorua, the tourist centre of the North Island of New Zealand is less than an hour drive from the Bay of Plenty coast that offers lots of sun, good surf, boating, fishing and deep sea diving. 

Essential Criteria: 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Emergency Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
