The Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Directorate starting February 2019. Responsibilities in the Adult Community Mental Health team include assessment and treatment formulation while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) and engaging with the wider mental health and addictions sector. You will have a strong commitment to service user and family / whanau inclusion in service delivery and a focus on recovery.

Located in the southern-most city in New Zealand's South Island and is renowned for its friendly and unhurried pace of life and strong sense of community. There are abundant sports and other amenities, educational (primary through tertiary) facilities, as well as a vibrant arts and cultural scene. Close by are national parks and summer and winter playgrounds that are part of Queenstown and Central Otago.
Essential Criteria:
All applicants should be eligible or able to achieve vocational registration in psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand
