The Position 
Our client is looking for enthusiastic Rural Hospital Medical Specialists/Medical Officers to join their vibrant and friendly team. It is a perfect time to join their team with a newly developed Accident & Medical Department, Medical ward, Radiology and After-Hours GP with further redevelopment currently underway that will incorporate a primary care clinic and outpatient facilities. 

Our client is a busy 20 bed rural hospital caring for medical, post-surgical and paediatric patients along with an Accident & Medical Department. The SMO is responsible for providing medical care to acutely ill patients in the Accident & Medical department as well as managing the inpatients in the General Ward. A generous salary package will be offered that includes substantial support for Continuing Medical Education. Applicants must hold or be eligible for vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.

Essential Criteria:
