The Position
Our client has two vacancies for either a Medical Officer and / or Psychiatrist to join their team in the acute psychiatric inpatient unit. These positions provide clinical care in the inpatient acute and sub-acute setting. They encourage applications from doctors with an interest in acute psychiatric care and who are suitable to take up these roles. There you will be part of a team of senior doctors, registrar and house-officer, providing clinical care and contributing to the medical leadership of the ward.
They offer you professional support with a commitment to continuing professional development. You will have the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a recovery focused model of care in a modern, purpose built inpatient unit and the opportunity to work in partnership with other health, social and community sectors.

Essential Criteria
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
