Locum Rural Hospital Medicine Specialist or Medical Officer
Dates: ASAP until mid April 2020
Rates: $1500+GST per standard day, $2000+GST per standard day + on-call; depending on experience and qualifications. Accommodation, Car & NZ Domestic Travel provided.
The Position
Our client is looking for a Locum Rural Hospital Medicine Specialist or Medical Officer for an immediate coverage until mid April 2020. This is a fixed term full time (1.0FTE) role.
The Location
Located in the southernmost city in New Zealand's South Island and is renowned for its friendly and unhurried pace of life and strong sense of community. There are abundant sports and other amenities, educational (primary through tertiary) facilities, as well as a vibrant arts and cultural scene. Close by are national parks and summer and winter playgrounds that are part of Queenstown and Central Otago.
Essential Criteria:
To apply for this position you must either:
* Hold vocational scope of practice in Rural Hospital Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand; OR
* Have substantial Medical Officer experience in Emergency Medicine and hold current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand; OR
* Currently working as a Registrar on the Rural Hospital Medicine Training Scheme and hold current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
