Locum GP - Northland 

Dates: January to April 2020 

Rates: $450-$500+GST per sessions depending on experience and qualifications; plus accommodation, car & travel 

The Position 
Our client requires a locum GP to assist to meet patient demand in a rural general practice in Northland, serving a diverse population. Our client offers a wide range of support services to the community within a friendly team. The practice operates 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings from 8.30am – 1pm and ideally seeking a doctor who can cover 8-10 session per week.

With a sub-tropical climate there is a vast array of delicious fresh produce available locally, including top quality fruit and local wines. Northland has stunning beaches, native bush and plenty of opportunity to get into the outdoors. Within a short distance of the Bay of Islands, Waipou Forest, Hokianga Harbor and the Waiomio limestone Caves. There is plenty to keep you busy in your downtime in this stunning part of the North Island. 

Essential Criteria: 
To be eligible to apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
