The Position
Our client is seeking to appoint a Radiologist with Subspecialist Interventional Radiology skills and appropriate qualification, to lead and manage the development of the Interventional Radiology Service in North Island. This radiologist will also perform general reporting as rostered. The appointee would join a medical staff of 18 other Radiologists and 6 Registrars. The department's workload comprises of general radiology, ultrasound, MDCT, angiography and a range of interventional procedures. An on call component allows them to offer a 24 hour acute service.

Our client is located in a beautiful city on the coast of the North Island of New Zealand. You will enjoy a sunny climate, which is ideal for growing avocados, grapes, kiwifruit, citrus, and other subtropical fruits for which the region is famous for. The region is also known for its timber, paper and dairy products.

Essential Criteria:
Applicants must be eligible for registration as a Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist with the Medical Council of New Zealand and have further Interventional Radiology qualifications e.g. EBIR.
