The Position
Our client is seeking a permanent GP to join them starting February 2019. The locum is required to cover 8-10 sessions per week. You will be working with 1 other doctor and an excellent nursing team. They use Medtech32 software.
The Location
Situated in a large town in the Wairarapa, known for its rich agriculture including wine-growing, olives and other gourmet produce. The region is rich in native bush and wildlife also - you can visit some of New Zealand's rarest birds at Mt Bruce National Wildlife Centre. For outdoorsy types there is excellent hiking and plenty of other adventure sports to try across the region from coast to mountains. The ski fields are in easy visiting distance too.
Essential Criteria
To be eligible to apply for this position you must hold or be eligible to hold general scope of practice with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
