The Position 
Applications are invited for a General Surgeon or Medical Officer, with subspecialty training in Breast. You will join the general surgical team, participating in elective work. 

The General Surgery Unit is based in Waikato and provides services to its four satellite hospitals. You will be required to participate in an on-call roster with elective and acute work and peripheral sites. This is a challenging role which demands a high level of skill, both technical and non-technical. Work ethic and the ability to work well in a team are vital attributes required.

Essential Criteria 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in General Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
