Emergency Medicine Specialist
Start Date: ASAP until November 2020
Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
The Position
Applications are invited for either a Specialist or Medical Officer to join the Emergency Department for this fixed term position ending November 2020. The Department of Emergency Medicine has 40,000 attendances per year, of which 25% are pediatric. The department is currently led by 11 SMOs and is accredited with ACEM for 12 months Advanced Training and Paediatric Log Book Training and has a successful training program for both Part 1 and Part 2 trainees.

There is a good range of educational opportunities for families with both private and public schooling nearby.
Essential Criteria:
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Emergency Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
