Emergency Medicine Consultant

Start Date: May 2019 to March 2020

Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

The Position
Our client is looking for an Emergency Medicine Consultant for Fixed Term Position from May 2019 - March 2020 (80 hours per fortnight). They are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join their team of 10 Senior Medical Officers. The department is accredited for 12 months ACEM advanced training and has a strong focus on education and development of the emergency medicine workforce.

They actively encourage a healthy work-life balance and support both full-time and part-time FTE roles. They welcome applications from EM specialists who are looking for a new challenge and pace of life in their sunny coastal city.

The Location
Our client is located in a beautiful city on the coast of the North Island of New Zealand. You will enjoy a sunny climate, which is ideal for growing avocados, grapes, kiwifruit, citrus, and other subtropical fruits for which the region is famous for. The region is also known for its timber, paper and dairy products.

Essential Criteria:
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Emergency Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
