An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a Radiologist to join the Radiology team based at Southland Hospital. The successful candidate will have the general scope of radiologist skills including Ultrasound and CT guided procedures. You will participate on an out of hours on call roster shared amongst your Radiologist colleagues. The nature of the work will be predominantly emergency and inpatient cases. You would be expected to support and participate in radiology service and quality initiatives as part of your role.
Our client is a modern 160 bed secondary care facility that prides itself on having excellent facilities and equipment. They offer a full range of imaging modalities based on a digital RIS / PACS system.
Located in the southernmost city in New Zealand's South Island and is renowned for its friendly and unhurried pace of life and strong sense of community. There are abundant sports and other amenities, educational (primary through tertiary) facilities, as well as a vibrant arts and cultural scene. Close by are national parks and summer and winter playgrounds that are part of Queenstown and Central Otago.
