The Position
Our client is looking for an Old Age Psychiatrist to join their motivated team within the Mental Health and Addiction Service, primarily working in both an inpatient and community setting. Flexibility regarding hours of work can be negotiated.
The service has embarked on a significant redevelopment programme in the past 18 months, with a new Clinical Director, and Multidisciplinary Executive Leadership Team, as well as practicing psychiatrists. Their focus is on increased social work time and psychology input including developing community services with improved working arrangements with local rest homes.

Located in a sophisticated medium sized North Island city, which is still small enough to be friendly and retain a community feel. Essential Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
