Permanent Consultant Psychiatrist, Child & Adolescent

Start Date -January 2019.

Rates Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

The Position
Our client is located in Auckland. They are seeking a permanent child & adolescent psychiatrist to work in the Child and Family Unit. Vacancies for a psychiatrist in this service do not come along often and we are seeking energetic, innovative and passionate applicants for the full time role. The Child and Family Unit is the largest acute child and adolescent inpatient unit in New Zealand with 18 acute beds. Ideally the psychiatrist will have the ability to work across the age range. The Location
Our client is located close to the heart of Auckland CBD where there are lots of shops to browse and places to eat. Visit the iconic Sky tower, or pop to the Viaduct Harbour which is full of super yachts and lined with bars and cafes to enjoy a great night out. The North Shore is a 15-20-minute drive away, known for its wonderful beaches and relaxed atmosphere.

Essential Criteria
Must be eligible for or hold vocational scope of practice in psycharity with the Medical Council of New Zealand
