Consultant Psychiatrist

Start Date: April 2019

Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

The Position
Our client is seeking two Specialist Psychiatrists working 0.8 - 1.0FTE (negotiable). You will join their highly effective team and perform vital work across their inpatient and community services. The position would be serving a population of approximately 100,000. Staffing includes: 7 Psychiatrists, 4 Medical Officers/Registrars.

Essential Criteria:
The successful applicant must hold or be eligible to hold vocational scope of practice in psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Suitable interested applicants could also be considered for the Clinical Director Mental Health & Addictions (0.2 FTE) and/or Director Area Mental Health Services (DAMHS) role (0.1 FTE).
