Our client is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join their Acute Adult Mental Health Services starting December 2018. These services include the inpatient unit - which is in the process of being rebuilt, Intake and Acute Assessment and Home Based Treatment. The vacancy sits within the Intake and Acute Assessment component of the service within which we provide mental health triage, acute assessments, treatment interventions, risk assessment, psycho-education, therapeutic interventions & support of people experiencing urgent mental health and co-existing drug and alcohol issues.

Must be eligible for or hold vocational scope of practice with the Medical Council of New Zealand in Psychiatry.
