Consultant Ophthalmologist

Start Date: February 2019

Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

The Position
Our client is seeking two Specialist Ophthalmologists to join the team of four Ophthalmologists serving a population of around 145,000. You will take part in a 1:6 on call roster. The service provides the highest standard of care for the patients, while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. There is a comprehensive suite of equipment including OCT, Fields, Photography, and Lasers. In both operating theatres there are modern microscopes and Alcon Centurion Phakoemulsification equipment.

Essential Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for this position you must hold or eligible for vocational scope of practice in ophthalmology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
