Consultant General Surgeon - Colorectal

Dates: July 2019 to November 2019

Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

The Position
An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a Consultant General Surgeon - Colorectal to join the Surgery team based at Southland Hospital for fixed-term, (40 Hours per week).

You will be involved in both elective and emergency based interventions. You'll meet with their community through clinics and theatre, and take part on their 1:8 general surgery call roster. You will need to be a General Surgeon, ideally with an interest in colorectal surgery. You will enjoy working as part of a wider MDT and be a strong communicator, with a focus on patient care.

Close by are national parks and summer and winter playgrounds that are part of Queenstown and Central Otago.

Essential Criteria:
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in General Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
