Consultant General Physician/Respiratory/Gastroenterologist/Rheumatology

Start Date: September 2019

Rates: Negotiable on qualifications and experience

The Position
Our client has an opportunity a specialist who is a keen general physician to join their strong General Medicine Department, providing General Internal Medical inpatient and outpatient services. The role is a 0.5-0.8 FTE (20-32 hours per week) permanent role with approximately 0.5 FTE being in General Medicine and the balance in another specialty. Start times negotiable.

You will require a strong commitment to comprehensive care encompassed within General /Internal Medicine, including full involvement in the acute roster for admission and ongoing care of undifferentiated acute adult hospital presentations. You will be eligible for Vocational Scope Registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.

Lots of beautiful walks and the added attraction of where a lot of Lord of the ring locations such as Helms deep and Rivendell to explore.

Essential Criteria
