The Position 
Our client is looking for a permanent (0.9 FTE) Community, Developmental and General Paediatrician to join a dedicated team of Paediatricians committed to providing excellent service to the children and young people. The position includes Community Paediatric work in which you will contribute to programme and service development for children, Child Protection, Development Paediatric work as well as contributing to the general paediatric on call roster. Their Child Health Service has an enthusiastic team of 9 full- and part-time general, developmental, adolescent and community paediatricians, providing a range of general and subspecialty paediatric services. 

The Location 
Located in the beautiful area, nestled between two mountain ranges, and a splendid river. Plenty to see and do. Within the region where culture and coffee are the key attractions. Lots of beautiful walks and the added attraction of where a lot of Lord of the ring locations such as Helms deep and Rivendell to explore. 

Essential Criteria 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Paediatrics with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
