The Position
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic clinical director to provide clinical leadership to their Radiology Department. This is an exciting role with a real opportunity to make a difference. Our client provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services including X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Interventional procedures.
The role of the Clinical Director is a position of responsibility annexed to a substantive role of Specialist Radiologist. The Specialist Radiologist is a permanent role. The Clinical Director role is initially a fixed term of three years.
The successful candidate will be committed to clinical leadership and to working in partnership with the Operations Manager to further develop and maintain a high quality radiology service. A strong interest in clinical governance, quality improvement and medical education are essential.

Located north of Auckland. Close to all the beaches and a naval base. Easy drive to the CBD, relaxed commute to the harbor. Lots of opportunities to explore, catch a ferry to travel to the Islands near by.
Essential Criteria:
To apply for this position you must have at least 5 years’ experience as a SMO, team leadership experience and hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
