Clinical Director – Radiation Oncology
Start Date: December 2019
Rates: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
The Position
Our client is seeking a Clinical Director to provide clinical direction and leadership for the Radiation Oncology Service, in partnership with the Senior Oncology team and Chair of Cluster. Their unit has a busy oncology outpatient radiation treatment and chemotherapy day ward service. The department has four linear accelerators, a wide-bore CT-simulator, Monaco treatment planning systems and Varian HDR Brachytherapy. They also have On-Board Imaging, cone-beam CT, gating capability as well as DIBH facility.
In this role, you will:
* provide clinical leadership
* promote clinically and culturally safe practice
* support staff to develop and meet objectives for clinical outcomes, productivity and cost efficiencies in line with the overall strategic direction of Canterbury District Health Board.

Essential Criteria:
