The Position 
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Director for General Medicine starting February 2020. As Clinical Director (CD) of this dynamic service, you will be supported by a team of clinical leads and together you will work as part of the Acute and Emergency Medicine leadership team to develop the strategic direction and vision for the service, including a robust clinical governance structure. 

In addition to CD responsibilities, you will lead a Gen Med team and there will be the opportunity to continue practice your medical sub-specialty. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to clearly demonstrate strategic medical leadership. 

The Location 
Located north of Auckland. Close to all the beaches and a naval base. Easy drive to the CBD, relaxed commute to the harbor. Lots of opportunities to explore, catch a ferry to travel to the Islands near by. 

Essential Criteria: 
To apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for vocational scope of practice in Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
