You are also eligible to apply for vocational registration which has no restriction on the time you can work in New Zealand. However, qualification criteria can change at the discretion of the New Zealand Medical Council at any time. Doctors without vocational qualifications, but who have worked in Radiology for a minimum of 30 hours per week for at least 33 out of the last 48 months in one of the following comparable health countries, are eligible to work in New Zealand at registrar level, depending on your level of training and experience.
